Why is the current refugee crisis so important?

How are refugees migrating?

Where are refugees traveling to/from?

According to CNN the number of displaced people is 65.3 million people, higher than post World War II.

Refugees encounter many obstacles and set-backs when trying to seek asylum. Many do not make it to their destination. Others are turned away when they get there.

How might we create a better migration experience
for these refugees?

What are people doing to help?

Refuge Coffee Co. :
More than just good coffee

Across the world different groups have varying levels of involvement in trying to help the refugees. Germany has accepted more refugees that most other countries.  The efforts of small organizations can go a long way as well. In the US, Clarkston, Georgia, is often referred to as "the most diverse city in America",  due to its identification as a refugee resettlement program location. Two groups stand out in trying to build community for refugees in Clarkston: Refuge Coffee Co and The Fugees Family . Both are working towards creating a welcome for refugees.
